First Annual Pacific Environment Forum (September 2011)

The First Annual Pacific Environment Forum will be held prior to the SPREP Meeting in Apia on 12^th September 2011.

The Forum will offer SPREP members and country delegates -including partners- the opportunity to engage in discussion on key environmental topics of interest in the Pacific, and will involve high‐level participation from SPREP and UNEP.  It is envisaged that the outcomes from the Forum will provide input to the Pacific preparations for Rio+20 including other key regional and international processes.

Attached is the Provisional Agenda for your information. A detailed agenda will be circulated to Members in due course. Since this is an Open Forum, participation from all levels is warmly encouraged.
