Euromarine Mobility Fellowships Programme
Euromarine is an FP7 Coordination Action bringing together the former networks of excellence—EurOceans, MarBEF and Marine-Genomics-Europe—into a single consortium whose mission is to stimulate joint programming, create synergies and guide marine research strategy in a shared vision for the oceans of tomorrow.
The overarching goal is to create fundamental knowledge to feed the innovation pipeline and needs of society. Research-led teaching is a key element. The next generation of marine scientists will need deep knowledge in 1-2 their chosen disciplines and basic fluency in 1-2 transdisciplinary areas. The Fellowships programme is designed to promote interdisciplinary, competency training.
Euromarine is offering 10 fellowships in 2012 for stays of 1-3 months at one of >175 participating host laboratories
