PACE-Net Newsletter #5

Dear member of the PACE-Net community,

We are pleased to send you herewith the fifth issue of our newsletter. The PACE-Net project is coming to its end, and will close its activities with the third and last PACE-NET key stakeholder Conference, in Suva, Fiji, from the 12th to the 14th of March 2013.
The main objective of the conference is to present the results of the 3-year PACE-Net project and discuss their implementation as well as potential future actions with stakeholders from policy, research, development, and innovation. Our previous conferences and workshops generated concrete policy relevant outputs on prioritizing sectoral challenges and elaborating strategic funding frameworks, and initiatives. The PACE-Net results session will lead into a panel discussion on success stories of funding and networking at regional scale and with Europe. The conference will also include an info-session on EU research and innovation framework programme tools and mobility schemes to demonstrate opportunities for international collaboration between Europe and the Pacific.
